Names In the News! Chuck and Elizabeth, of Bennett Gastle, were interviewed by the Lawyer's Weekly in December 2009 drawing some attention to the Cambodian Law Students Project.
"Lawyers Reach Out to Those in Need"
Bennett-Martin has won herself a $10,300 entry fee to the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure again this year, and plans to play poker for the benefit of CLEW. Not only will she donate a percentage of her winnings to CLEW from the main event but she also plans to play in the Ladies Only Event solely for the benefit of CLEW. Bennett-Martin played in the main event last year and placed 25th for $40,000 U.S. She paid for the
complete education of one of the girls attending university in Cambodia from poker winnings, and hopes to contribute more this year.
